Home Instead Senior Care enables the elderly to live independently. It's at home where their quality of life is enhanced without the stress of interrupted routines and changes in daily habits.

We Encourage and Assist

Our non-medical CAREGivers  provide one-on-one support and interaction that reduces feelings of isolation and depression. And, they're able to encourage activities that stimulate thinking and promote physical well being.

Our CAREGivers also provide help at home that includes meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, shopping, errands and incidental transportation to religious services, social events and medical appointments.

An expanded listing of our CAREGivers' capabilities can be found below. It will help you understand the broad list of responsibilities that our CAREGivers can perform on behalf of our clients.

A Trusted Resource

Home Instead Senior Care is clearly the world leader in non-medical eldercare. No other company has earned the level of trust, enjoyed the level of acceptance or experienced the level of growth that we have since our founding in 1994. We are a network of more than 500 independently owned and operated offices in the United States, Canada, Japan and Western Europe.

The quality of our services is a reflection of our CAREGivers. They are highly qualified and carefully selected individuals. Each is bonded, insured and carefully screened. This includes multiple reference checks and a thorough criminal background investigation.

Home Instead Senior Care has thousands of elderly clients, many of whom declare that the highlight of their day is when our CAREGivers arrive. Often that's because our CAREGivers - many of whom are seniors
themselves - are so caring, considerate and well trained.

Well Trained CAREGivers

Each CAREGiver participates in a very effective, ongoing training program. This commitment to education clearly separates us from others.

The initial training focuses on topics that include understanding the emotions of the elderly and communicating with our clients. Thereafter, CAREGivers focus on specialized eldercare topics and many participate in our exclusive, non-medical Alzheimer's training program.

We Do the Paperwork

A Home Instead CAREGiver is our employee. We assume all the responsibilities of handling taxes, benefits, scheduling, insurance and workers' compensation. All we require of you is a refundable service deposit and prompt payment of our invoices twice a month.

To Get Started

We will address your questions at a no-cost, no-obligation initial meeting. This session is designed for you to freely explore our services and the costs involved.

Our services can be arranged for as little as a few hours or as many as 24 hours per day. Short term service or long term care is available seven days a week, including holidays.

What you select is clearly set forth in a Service Agreement, which is attached for your review. This insures that everyone is informed and has a complete understanding of the care to be provided.
