We know that caring for an elderly loved one is much more then just helping out.  It's about a special partnership in which a senior not only feels cared for, but also loved. We are passionate about exceeding the needs of our clients and their families whether it is in their home, in assisted living facilities or even nursing homes, Home Instead Senior Care provides extensive senior home care services to the Greater Northwest Atlanta community.

We are here to help regardless of whether you need a few hours a day or 24-hour continual care.  Our services include companionship, meal preparation, showering/bathing and personal care assistance, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, medication reminders, and other daily living activities.

We have been providing services in the Atlanta area for over 15 years and are actively involved with nonprofit organizations within our community.  We are not a giant corporation run from the top down; we pride ourselves on being a community-based, friendly, and responsive company.  You can call and talk to anyone you wish anytime you wish.

	Ken Stavas Ken has been the owner of Home Instead Senior Care since 1996 servicing over 3,300 clients.  With a Master’s Degree in Psychology, he knows how important it is for seniors and their families to have a reliable and trusted resource of affordable home care. Ken has placed particular attention on becoming a trusted provider of comprehensive non-medical home health care for seniors.  Throughout his years of service to the seniors, Home Instead Senior Care has received numerous awards such as Cobb Small Business Award, Best Practices Award, Business to Business, and One to Watch Award.
	Claude Beaudry With more than 30 years experience in the business world, Claude joined our team in 2011.  As Director of Operations he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business.  His priority is to meet customer and caregiver needs, whatever they may be.  He and his team are responsible for scheduling, caregiver hiring and training, accounting and continuous quality improvement.  He and his family moved from Montreal, Canada in 1996.
	Ruth Todd Ruth is Recruitment Coordinator for Home Instead Senior Care, conducting caregiver interviews and background checks.  She provides caregivers with required training.  A five-year employee in the care giving profession, Ruth is always available to answer questions from both caregivers as well as clients.
	Gail Burgess Gail moved to Georgia from California five years ago and quickly became an important part of the home Instead team.  A mother of two great children she has her hands full but finds the time to devote to her position with home Instead Senior Care.  Her amazing insight comes in handy when it comes to understanding the needs of each client.  Because of her friendly personality, she has a knack for matching clients with caregivers.
	Anne Friedrich Anne has been employed with home Instead Senior Care since August of 2000.  She started as a caregiver and worked in recruitment as well.  As a Community Service Representative, Anne informs and educates referral agencies and new relationships on the services Home Instead Senior Care provides.  Relationships are very important to Anne because she understands that it is much easier to have someone in your home caring for your loved one that you know and trust.  To Anne it is personal.
	Judy Scarborough Judy first came to us in 2004 working two years as Caregiver and Staff Coordinator.  She quickly established a reputation as being a compassionate caregiver and a hardworking dedicated employee.  She left us for a while to care for an aging parent.  In 2011 we had the good fortune of welcoming Judy back to our company as Recruiting and Retention Coordinator.  Her experience as a caregiver has given her great insight when it comes to understanding the needs of the client and the qualities necessary for being a successful match to the position of caregiver.  Judy prescreens all potential caregivers.  She then assists with conducting interviews, overseeing a thorough background and reference check process and making employment decisions.  In addition to these responsibilities, Judy is involved with various administrative tasks related to tracking and monitoring quality of care provided to our clients.  Judy is a great asset to HISC.
	Layne Beaudry Layne joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in 2007.  She is a Certified Nursing Assistant as well as a Certified Senior Advisor and brought with her over seven years of experience from previous employment in the local senior center.  Layne meets with each client and/or their family prior to starting services.  She is responsible for accurately assessing needs and level of care required for the client.  Listening to client’s needs allows her to understand and develop a one-on-one relationship between clients and caregivers.  It is her priority to provide quality service and outstanding client care.
	Jamie Bennett Jamie joined the Home Instead Senior Care staff in December 2011. She is a graduate of Shorter College with a Bachelor of Science degree. Jamie comes from the newspaper industry with 17 years experience in sales and marketing. She adores the senior population and loves sharing the Home Instead story with the greater Rome area.
	Mary Wright Starting out with us a little over a year ago as a caregiver, Mary has proven to be a dynamic addition to our team. With her outgoing personality and passion for caring for seniors and their families ,we knew that Mary would be a perfect choice to represent us as our marketer in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. With our recent opening of our Roswell office, Mary is kept very busy building new relationships and getting involved in the local community.
